Thoughtful growing

Make the growing setup work for your plant.

  • Start with the roots

Consider the balance of air and moisture in the growing mix.

  • Work with your conditions

Light, temperature and pot choice influence how quickly a mix dries.

  • Choose with a purpose

Check materials, dimensions and intended use before adding a supply to your setup.

A more considered growing setup.

The right supply depends on the plant and the way you grow it.

How do I choose a suitable growing mix?

Consider your plant’s roots, the pot and the moisture conditions you can maintain. Balance air around the roots with enough water retention for the species and your environment.

Will the same mix work in a pot and a terrarium?

A pot and an enclosure can hold moisture differently. Check how drainage, ventilation and the growing layers work in each setup before choosing the same mix for both.

What should I check before choosing an accessory?

Compare the product’s dimensions and intended use with your plant and setup. Leave room for growth, and consider how you will clean, adjust or replace the accessory over time.
